Using Emotional Intelligence to a Career Advantage

Overview

Using Emotional Intelligence to a Career Advantage

Emotional Intelligence is the capability of individuals to recognize their own emotions and those of others, discern between different feelings and label them appropriately, use emotional information to guide thinking and behavior, and manage and or adjust emotions to adapt to environments or achieve one's goals.

Our speakers for this session are experts in their field. It is no surprise then that research shows there is a correlation between successful leaders and high emotional intelligence (soft skills). This session will look at how to identify your own emotional intelligence and use these skills to define your individual brand, and then how to further practice these skills in your day job to enhance your career.
